Death Knight Gnome and Other Bugs - 2010-10-22 21:18:54
<<< Previous - Death Knight Gnome and The Loading Screen Weirdness | Next - Diggin' the Cataclysm >>>So now that you've seen Roo - here's a few more shots of bugs, this time the normal, vaguely expected kind. For instance, I can never pass by a bottle of
Underbelly Elixir on any character. It's all nice and glowy and I must pick it up and either drink it or save it. I think it's the glow that makes me. In any case Roo drank some, and then went flying off to do his fishing quest. In bug form. (Note: you don't always turn into a bug.)
And I do mean flying - if the elixir turns you into a bug you can actually fly above the sewer water, above everyone's heads and around town. (Unless you go too high and have the parachute slapped on you by the Invisible Flight Police.)
But what I didn't know was that when I tried to fish a tiny bug sized fishing pole appeared in my er legs.
The pet zombie was unimpressed, preferring to menace passing rats.
In other transformation news, whenever my characters fish up a
Magic Eater they send it to Roo. Because rather than a nice food buff eating a Magic Eater often turns you into something. Thus people will often see Roo waiting to do a daily quest in the form of a roach:
Note the little circle of Death Knight bones floating around him.
Though it's easier to see here, when he's a wisp. Yes, I'm afraid I do have him keep eating the darn things until the food buff appears. I have to do something with them. I can't just vendor them! ...Hmmm. Well I suppose I could...
