Fire Festival quests lately. But this year the gold and xp the quests give are insane. As in I'm making gold or leveling up characters like crazy - last year it was just about vanity gear, this year we have that as well as the additional perks. Very nice - it's as though someone realized that these quests and
amusing toys give us a transfusion of fun.
The shoulders (
Mantle of the Fire Festival) were actually a quest reward from last year, as was the headgear (
Crown of the Fire Festival). So the fact that I only had to get my druid the
Vestment of Summer and
The Sandals of Summer made this not such a difficult collection quest.
It was only after I saw the fire effects that the robe and sandals created that I just
had to get them for this particular character.
Why, you may ask?

Wish it was a little more firey, but even as it is this is just the thing to amuse the gang while waiting to do an instance. Yes, I'll heal you
and dance around in flames! Multi-purpose tree. Druids, we do love our humorous moments in shape shifting. Just so wrong that I can't be a Firey Bear as well.
In seriousness - I would love to send a thank you to whoever designed the fire effects on the robe - I am really enjoying the firey
atomic symbols that keep vaguely appearing in the effects. Nice job. This whole event has really reminded me that it's always the little details that make me keep playing and enjoying this game.
