Husband tells me I really have to come look at the turkeys in game. I scoff, and keep killing whatever it was I was killing in "normal Wow." He explains turkeys turn into nice dinners. I scoff again. But dammit, now I'm curious. I finally go look at his screen, after putting my character someplace safe. (This is going to get me killed sometime soon, I can tell.)
Ok, I need to stop with the doubting, I realize this.
Once you kill the turkey - a level 4 or 5 critter, not much of a challenge - it does indeed turn into a nice dinner:
Of course, it only looks like dinner. I don't think you can actually pick it up or eat it. I'm not sure if this is part of a quest or not - husband didn't find out yet. Location is
Valgarde, which I've learned (thanks to WowWiki info!) is in Howling Fjord.
Since Turkeys are not on the list of
beasties that are tamable...alas, no giant level 80 turkey pet will be attacking you in pvp. Which you have to admit would be amusing.
